When will my grandbaby begin growing hair?

My granddaughter lives with me and lost all the lovely hair she was born with. She has fuzz so she isn't completely bald, but I was wondering when a baby's natural hair begins to grow?

  • My kids didn't get any real hair until they were almost 2 years old. All kids are different though, so you can't really go by when any one else's child got hair.

  • Depends - my 3 boys all had beautiful heads of hair that needed to be cut shortly after their 1st bday, my daughter had almost no hair at all until she was 2.

I know all babies are different....I was just curious about the average. All 3 of my daughters were born with full heads of hair and never lost any of it....it just grew longer and thicker...lol.
