  • I'm diabetic after 4 GD pregnancies. There's a LOT of things you can eat! Omelets loaded with veggies & topped with cheese, stir fry (just don't eat much rice), meatloaf, baked or grilled chicken, steamed, grilled or roasted veggies, Swiss steak, burgers with no bun or 1/2 bun, huge chef salads, sugar free jello, cottage cheese, tacos (taco shells have few carbs, 3 would be your limit), pickles & hard cheese (1 of my fave snacks), hard boiled eggs, egg, tuna, ham or chicken salad on lettuce OR on 1 slice bread. There are low carb breads in the stores if you have to have bread. Try to avoid rice, most other breads, baked goods and pastas. Potatoes are ok if you keep the portion size small, like 1 small potato or 1/2 cup mashed. Message me if you'd like more ideas!

  • If your doctor did not send you to a nutritionist or a dietician to help you build a diet, then please call now and have him/her do so.

Eat lots of beans, lentils, and other legumes. Shiritaki noodles are made from tofu. Send me a message offlist if you need recipes.

    Eat an avocado every day
