I have to go to DMV and they asked this

  • Usually we have to bring in a bill, like a energy bill or water bill with our current address on it.

  • It means that you need to take a bill or something with you that has your address on it....or at least that's what I think it means.

  • Legal presence may also mean that you will have to prove that you are a United States citizen so you will need your Social Security card and/or Birth Certificate. Your online DMV should have a list of documents that they will accept.
