What is a Bump?

I am new to cafe moms and I keep running across this bump thing. Is it an insult, a "whats up" thing or what?

  • To "bump" a post usually means to reply to it for the sole purpose of moving it up to the top of the list for greater visibility.

  • Think of that dance they used to do back in the 70's when they used to bump their hips against each other while they danced to the music. That's sort of what we do here....give a friendly hip 'bump' in time to the music to make the other person feel good. :)
