If water excersise is so much "better" and burns more calories, why dont it make you sore?

  • Even though it does alot of good for your body, its not as stressful as "land aerobics" because in water, you are more buoyant and you "weigh less" so your body is not trying to hold itself up while exercising. That's why it doesn't hurt as bad. I know this because I was on swim team freshman year

  • because the water helps to support your body. it also provides resistance which is why it burns more calories
