8 month old and sleeping

Since he was born he's co slept. I've been trying for the last few months to get him at least sleeping on his own even if it is my bed. Well my little one has been screaming for the last hour and a half refusing to go to sleep. He screams if i'm holding him he screams if he's put down, he's been changed fed, i gave him some Tylenol (he might be teething) He hasn't had a nap and he's been up since 6am what do i do?

  • im sorry, i kmow how you feel, now it is 6pm, id just let him be up and play until bed time which is hopefully soon... if you are adiment about him sleeping in his own bed then id suggest CIO, and DONT regress to letting him in your bed!

  • You might want to wait until he is a bit older; it also helps to have someone else do the nightly routine. Around 13-15mo he should be able to get in and out of a toddler or child's bed.

  • Put him in his crib and let him cry himself to sleep.
