  • Have help! Lots and lots of help! I could not have done it alone.

  • Expect exhaustion! Try to prepare and freeze meals to defrost and eat after the babies are here.

  • It will be the most wonderful and exhausting time of your life! The first few weeks you are feeding babies, changing babies, rocking babies, and trying to eat and sleep enough to keep yourself going - don't make plans to do much of anything else, and make someone else responsible for feeding the rest of your family (if anyone asks what you need tell them to bring your family meals!). It is pretty crazy for the first few weeks and months, but then the babies start sleeping longer and eating less frequently, you get into a routine, and you can't remember what it was like before. It really does go by faster than you will believe possible.

    Congrats & good luck!
