  • Yes...and I have to make sure that I make extra. Believe it or kids LOVE broccoli; asparagus peas carrots...everything. Not too fond of spinach though. It's crazy how they devour the veggies. We actually use veggies and fruit as a "bribe"..."If you don't eat this then you aren't getting your broccoli...." lol

  • Yes we do. My children also love things like Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts which is good because I eat the heck out of them as well!

  • Usually, but tonight onion rings would have to count. :)

(they were homemade from organic, locally grown onions so I should get bonus points, dammit!)

  • It's on their plates, doesn't mean they will eat though LOl. During the summer we have fruit instead of veggies quite often. Still don't mean they will eat it, but I tried.

  • yes! granted shes only one, but she actually love veggies (at least for now). peas are her fav (as are mine haha). i think its b/c veggies are so much easier for her to feed herself than other foods.

  • The kids do. I rarely touch 'em myself.

  • Yes, at least two and maybe more, we should eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day to get the nutrition that we need. An occasional hot dog only meal, maybe, but at home always.

  • I'm with Bmat, I try to get at least the minimum 5 into my family every day. My guys all love fruit and vegetables. I usually serve a cooked vegetable at dinner, and then either a salad or vegi soup. Sometimes I put out carrot and celery sticks before dinner to snack on. I also serve a fruit with dinner.

  • We have fruit and veggies with lunch & dinner. My kids often snack on broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots

  • At least two. How else do you get in the recommended 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day (in at least three different colors).
