# giving my 3 month old his medication?

my son doctor prescribed some powdered medication (miralax) forhim today and it says give 1.5 grams once a day and the medicine dropper does not measure by grams so now i have been searching for almost an hour trying to find out how many ml is 1.5 grams?

• 1 gram = 1 mL so they're the same thing. You'd need to give him 1.5 mL of it.

• Grams and milliliters measure different things. The gram is a unit of weight (solid), while the milliliter is a unit of volume (liquid). Are you supposed to add liquids to it?
