  • right now, probably about $100 a child. that's supplies, a few good pairs of shoes, and uniforms. I try to get away with letting him wear some of the shirts i bought in the spring and then when fall comes (which isn't until late October here in ATL), i will spend another 50 - 60 on uniforms (shirts, long pants) again. i get my uniform stuff at
they are little more that you would pay at walmart, but they wash better.
my daughter is in prek and isn't wearing a uniform yet, so i probably spend a little more on her.

  • I pre-ordered school supplies for $55, and then I will probably get a couple of things, like clothes and a new pair of sneakers before she starts school. My daughter does not wear uniform, so she can just wear whatever we have already and then once it gets colder, which is not until Oct. here in Texas, I will get her new jeans and other things she might need.
