My son has sores in his mouth...

Since Tuesday, my 14 month old son has had sores on his tongue and the roof of his mouth. I'm calling his doctor Monday if it hasn't gone away. At first I thought him refusing food and drink was teething since he's been drooling a lot. Just last night, we've discovered those sores. It's got me concerned. He acted a little better yesterday but he's still a little off. Have you experienced this?

  • Sounds like it could be Thrush.
Definitely take him to see the doctor. It's not uncommon for babies to get it.

  • are the sores white? If they are, try wiping them away, if you cant then it's probably thrush. It could also be hand foot and mouth disease. is there a doc on call you could ask?
