How do you wash your comforter?

Mine is a Croscill which is pretty expensive and I don't want to wash it as I am scared it lose its shape and silkiness. Can I take it to the dry cleaners?

  • Yes, I have taken my to the dry cleaners, but my children ended up messing it up so much that I finally brought one that I can throw in the wash.

  • I would take it to the dry cleaners and ask them what the best way to clean it would be.

  • It should have a tag sewn to it telling how to clean it. If it is an expensive item, I'd take it to the drycleaners. Because our cats climb on our bed all the time I use sheets to cover the cover, and in the summer, I just use an extra sheet over the sheets we sleep with.
