What would Ben Franklin say about Obama??

When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." Franklin realized that politicians who attempted to buy votes by promising rich entitlements could not look out for the good of the entire country. Thus, an inevitable decline would occur.
This is what we are seeing now and most of our founding fathers would as John Adams said be repenting in heaven that they ever took the pains to preserve our country.

  • We would not be spending massive amounts of money on a false stimulus. We would have cut sppending instead and stimulated the economy with tax cuts. The market would not be stalled out with the worry of cap and tax and healthcare. Thats just starters.

  • Military and defense spending is generally a large piece of any government budget. How would spending be cut while maintaining efforts and supplying resources to the activities in the Middle East?
