I am in desperate need of a baby sling but all of the carriers I have tried really hurt my back. Does anyone have any suggestioins on ones that have worked well for them?

  • I have a Mei Tei baby carrier.. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I also tried a whole bunch of carriers, and this is by far the best.
It doesn't hurt your back, and nor does it dig into your shoulders/neck painfully like some of the others I've tried. :]

  • What kind have you used? The sling types hurt my back (I had a Hotsling), but my Moby Wrap is wonderful. I've also used an Ergo baby carrier, and it's absolutely wonderful! We're saving up to buy one right now (not a necessity, so we have to budget it in!).

  • i have chronic back pain and was able to carry dd in a moby for almost a year. i recently got an ergo, and i do love it, but the moby definitely felt better on my back. i have tried many different kinds of slings and carriers, and these two were the best for me. check on ebay for them, you can usually find them with free shipping there (new).
