temp of 103.2!! what do i do?

she is 1. i called her pediatrician and it was the doc on call and she said give her tylenol i did it went down to 102.6 and now 30 mon later back up to 103.2. what should i do?

  • Call the doctor again. I'd probably take her to an urgent care clinic if you don't get help from the doctor, for peace of mind anyway.

  • get her to cool down ( less clothes or a cool face cloth cool spongebath no soap ) my son did that when he was just over 1 and before i could act he had a sezior (sp) due to his fever going high to fast and have been told it can happen again...he was rushed to hospital in an ambulance it was the worst day of my life.... so get her to cool down also i gave motrin.. hope she feels better just stay with her and keep an eye on her get her cool but comfy...again hope she feels better good luck mama..xo *hugs*

  • You can alternate Motrin and Tylenol. Ask the doc about this. You CAN do this, many people are freaked but they are different drugs. Call again, try to do the cool down while you wait for the doc to call back. It'll be okay.

  • motrin work alot better then tylenol . but go to the er
