  • My sister in law had an ultra sound at 15 weeks and they told her it was a girl and at 22 weeks she had another and found out they were wrong that it was a boy and it came out a boy. however a friend of mine usued the same dr and had her ultra sound at 15 weeks and they told her it was a girl and she had a girl. so i guess it depends on how clear the ultra sound is and how well the ultra sound tech is experienced.

  • I was 19 weeks. My friend found out at 13 weeks. She went for an ultrasound regarding something else and plain as day you could see it was a boy, AND the umbilical cord. So in some cases it is possible.

  • I found out my DS was a boy at 16wks I had a U/S after my car accident. The U/S tech asked "have you found out what HE is yet?" After saying things like "HE looks good" "HIS plasenta looks good" and such after we told her we have not yet found out she switched to "the baby looks good" ect. :)
