Does it drive you nuts when a parent uses her instead of she??

Such as "Her doesn't want to play right now" instead of she doesn't want to play right now. I know a few moms that do this and it drives me nuts!! Wouldn't you want to teach your kids the correct way to say it?

  • Not too many things do, but this is one of them It's so much easier to teach correct grammar than it is to correct the child when she uses what she has been taught just because someone thinks that it is cute. A relative of mine would say Does her wants to play now? *shudder*

  • The way people talk and write absolutely drives me crazy. LOL. I work at a grooming salon and you can't even imagine the grammer that I hear. It annoys me SOOO much.

  • It drives me INSANE! My husband's grandmother does it with our child and I grit my teeth and say the same phrase in the CORRECT way, much louder than she was, to get it across to DD. LOL.
