green spotted puffer fish

anyone have one? what do i feed it, the pet store i got him from was vague

  • An only child...lol

    Pet stores usually sell frozen brine shrimp and blood worms too....you just bread a tiny part off everyday and toss it in...they love it....

    Ours do anyways...you have tried the flakes and he wont eat them or did they tell you he wouldnt eat them...

    Listen to me...I am calling the fish a "he" like I know...lol

  • Do you have an aquarium or just a bowl or what?

    I would just feed him regular tropical flake fish food....at walmart or pet store....

    They can be sort of aggressive so be careful if you are putting him with other fish.

  • lol i tried to give them to him (could be a her idk) but he don't eat it i guess i'll have to go to petsmart

  • Did you get him/her from petsmart? I would ask them what they had been feeding it...b/c changing its diet might throw it off and could harm it somehow....

    No, no black bellies...that I have seen anywho....lol

  • got it at walmart for my dd, maybe he's stressed is why his belly turns black, that or he's hungry lol
