Honestly, how many Americans have an actual problem with President Obama's race?

Be honest. I am Black. My heritage is diverse because my father was black and puerto rican and my maternal grandmother was full blood Cherokee Indian. I claim these heritages but I identify as a black woman. I don't have a problem with his race not because he's black, but because I don't have a problem with race with anyone, just as I haven't had a problem with our previous White presidents. Now have a strong distaste for both Former President Bush's, but not because of their race. I don't like them because I am a military brat and now a military wife and this is stressful.....and other reasons like cut funding for education....but that's a whole new question!

  • uugh Obama is half white too. Who the eff really cares? I dont! His leadership skills are awful as are the way he goes about things... Especially things a president has no business being involved with.

Answer by Anonymous at 11:33 PM on Aug. 2, 2009

  • I couldn't care less if what color he is, what he looks like, what his voice sounds like, the clothes he wears, etc.

I do not care for Obama because of his politics. I do not agree with many of the laws and plans he's implamented. I do not like my freedoms being taken from me and I do not agree with a plan that would turn our government into a socialistic government.

Like I said race has NOTHING to do with it. If there is a conservative black, Hispanic, white, etc. man or women in the next election who I think can clean up the disasteress mess that Obama is creating I would be glad to vote for him or her.

I don't understand why so many people think that if you don't agree with the Obama or the liberals than your racist. That's just simply not true.

  • i have a problem with everyone saying he;s black.... no, he's MIXED and a jackass too

Answer by Anonymous at 11:40 PM on Aug. 2, 2009

  • I'm sure a few do. Course the vast majority have issues with his lack of basic math skills, his inability to go a week without putting us deeper in debt and his complete lack of experience and knowledge. But no, race really doesn't figure in there. If he was white, he'd still be an idiot.
