    After Taxes:$17000
    Dependents:2---he claims two at work, 3 on his taxes so we get a better tax return

  • Hubby makes about $35k. After taxes we take home about $26k and there are 6 people in the family (us and the 4 kids).

  • I make 25-30k i claim 1 and file head of house at the end of the year. oh and ya around $17000-$21000

    How much left after taxes: $ 5600.00 per month after taxes, insurance and putting 5 percent in 401k
    Number of dependents: Only three people in our family.

  • MFJ, 2 dependants and honestly, I don't pay attention. The only thing that matters is my bills are getting paid each month and there is money to spare. I do the bills but again, don't pay attention to the gross income amount. net's my concern. We also have 401K, insurance, and flex account deductions.
