  • anything to do with the kitchen or bathroom is worth your time and money...with a bathroom just updating the sink, mirror, and putting down new rugs can make a diff...with a kitchen make sure appliances are updated and floor too...countertops are always nice!

  • I'd say the flooring and the details. Don't forget to finish the trim or put on those cabinet knobs. Also, don't do part of the room ie: replace the kitchen counter but leave the old sink and faucet the same. Do the whole job. Inconsistencies really stand out.
