What's your ritual drink?

For us it's typically mead or ale, and I avoid the ale because the mead is so much lighter.
What's yours? Wine, ale, something more virginal?

  • Mead or white wine, witch ever I have on hand

  • I don't drink except on the extremely rare special occasion (one daquari or margarita on my anniversary or birthday, for example), so decaf Pepsi is my "booze".

  • Depends upon who's attending the ritual. The FM ritual I have planned for this Thursday will be attended by a recovering for "Wine and Cakes" we'll be having Apple Juice and Nilla Wafers.  Otherwise, (or for a solitary ritual) I will have wine or Mead.

  • For group really depends on the ritual but it's always non alcoholic because we do have minors attending ritual. We've had sparkling party punches, kool aid, sodas and even herbal teas. One time we actually had lemon water served with bean sprouts. That was for a very greem ritual...a green man ritual. :)

Personally, I rarely incorporate cakes and ale in ritual. But when I've felt the urge to toast the Gods, it's usually a good scotch or bourbon.
