eye injury

my daughter was playing with some goggles and she pulled them to get them off her head and they snapped back and they hit her eyes. She couldn't open them for a while particularly the left one. Should I worry about this. and what shoudl i watch for as far as eye injury to call the pediatrician?

  • I would just watch to see if they get swollen around the eye and if she complains that they hurt or she can't see. I would also call the doctor on call just to check what he would say since she couldn't open them for awhile. If she did hurt the eye, just remember that the eye is one of the fastest healing parts of our body. It heals itself very well if it is just a minor injury.
