When did your kids say their first words

My baby is 7 months and only coos, makes sounds like mama and dada but he is not yet saying any words.

  • All children learn at diffrent paces. I don't think your child is behind or anything. Hannah doesn't really know what she is saying when she says momma and da da. She calls everyone da da including the cat. lol! Most babies don't understand what they are saying until they are 9-10 months old. Or at least this is what the Drs told me. I was worried Hannah might be behind, but they said she was fine. Anyways take care momma! :D Soon enough your little one will be talking your head off! :D

  • Hannah says Mama and Da Da. She just started 2 weeks ago and she is now 8months (yesterday).... My son was saying words by 4 months but was advanced speech wise by a lot!

  • my son will be 1 yr in 2 weeks and only says momma and dadda and jibberish that makes no Its different for all kids..i get so mad when people with babies his age are talking about the words they are saying.

  • lol my DD is 2 1/2 months and seriosly something hurts her she says aaaaaay this is because we speak mainly spanish at home because i want her to learn spanish first since it will be better just because i know spanish is a little bit more complicated than english, but she is so hilarious
