when did your baby say mama?

My ds is almost 11 months and babbles constantly he'll say dada or at least da when he sees dh, but only says ma occasionally, and not usually at me. So when did your LO start saying it correctly?

  • Mine just said it Sunday for the first time. She's a week shy of 11 months. Although dada and bah (dog) came before mama. Dada I can understand, but the dog?

  • My DS is 11months and he's been babbling mostly but he'll babble "mamamamama" or Maaaamammm" when he wants something or if he wants me to hold him.. I'm taking it as he's saying mama..
