S/O What books did you really love when you were a kid?

I loved to read but my two favorites were Sweet Valley Twins and The Babysitters Club

  • I liked the Sweet Valley Twins and Babysitters Club, too. Also Judy Blume books and Christopher Pike books. The Secret Garden and Little Women, too.

  • Anything by Judy Blume, the Ramona books, most of the other books by Beverly Cleary, The Bridge to Terabithia was my favorite as a kid. I never read past like book 5 in the Babysitter Club series and never read any of the Sweet Valley books. They didn't interest me.
    In high school I read mostly Star Trek books...I was a nerd.

  • Louisa May Alcott's books (especially Little Men and Jo's Boys), Heidi, Marguerite Henry's horse books, the Black Stallion series, Wrinkle in Time series, Isaac Asimov, mythology.
