Why Abortion yet no word of the biggest problem in healthcare. TORT reform. The biggest waste in medicine is the cost of defensive medicine. Tests and procedures ordered NOT for medical reasons but to protect from lawsuits. Tort reform would save billions in medical costs yet the dems plansmake NO mention of it. Why? Because the dems get millions of dollars in campaign donations from trial lawyers. This is NOT about reform its all about politics.Answer Question

With health care reform, the govt. is going to have to try to have similar coverage to what private insurance companies provide. Abortion is something that some insurance companies cover.
Personally, I would rather my tax dollars go to prevention or terminating an unwanted pregnancy than funding years of welfare, EBT and assistance for a family.

I love the term "preventative tests"! They don't prevent anything. They may screen, but they don't prevent. We have been convinced we have to have these "preventative tests" every year. The industry manufactured a demand so there would be a need for supply hence profit. We, being the 'fraidy-cats we all are, fell right into the manipulation. We made the problem with health care costs ourselves and then turn to the government to fix it. They are going to "fix" it, and we will pay dearly for it. Way to go us!
