  • Some apple juice or you can give prune juice diluted with water(1/2-1/2). OR just add more fiber to his/her diet.

  • I second the vote for fruit. It's the easiest medicine to give and it works AWESOME. I found that out the hard way, if you know what I mean!! lol I had the opposite problem you are having.

  • Fruit or veggies. And if not, Benefiber in powder is easy and can be added and dissolves in any food or drink. Works like a charm!

  • prune, apple and pear juice are supposed to help. . . My MIL says graham crackers, molasses, or marshmallows (too young for marshmallows at 1) to help it get moving. . . I will agree with these suggestions. . . my son gets bound up a little and if he gets a few graham crackers or a marshmallow peep (around Easter time) things get moving right quick. I know marshmallows are a big choking hazard. . .

  • The fruits that start with P's. Pears, Peaches, Prunes, etc. Apple juice actually constipates my children, lol. Give them any of the above and they are back to normal..

  • Fruit or fruit juice is a good first option. If not add karo syrup to bottle or sippy cup.
