How much are your school's lunches?

Are they good? Have you eaten them?

I love lunch at the school...chili day with Peanut butter sandwich is my fav!!
Ours are $2 and that includes milk.

  • My elementary school kids' lunches are $1.75 - they're ok. My middle schooler's lunch is $2, but we haven't eaten there yet.

  • Ours are $2 also and they too buy once a week on Friday's.....Pizza. Their food is good.

  • when my kids were in schoold for middle and high school basic lunch was 2.10 but they could get extras. Now there lunches are semi free because i am having them cyber schooled

  • I believe our breakfasts are $1.50 and our lunches are $1.80 (don't quote haven't gotten then new first of the yr note yet...and we offer reduced and free lunch program to those who qualifies...
    As far as them being good... my grandson likes them enough and on the days he doesn't like what they are having I will send him with a lunch...
    Now we do have the opition to purchase quartly snack drinks (we normally do) also... goes along with their classroom snack time...

  • Two dollars but I have seen then any they are not worth it all....I have a middle school boy and we live in Texas and I can say when we lived in Washington state they were much better there...

  • It doesn't matter what they cost; the foods in the Chicago Public schools are loaded with sodium and bad fats without a whole grain or green vegetable in sight.

    My daughter usually has breakfast on the go (out the door before 6), and brings a snack and lunch.

  • the lunches cost 2.50 I think and from what I've had it has all been good. My oldest son says he loves the lunches and my middle son actually eats them (he's a picky eater). But they only get to buy school lunches maybe once or twice a week and they bring them the rest of the time.
