Deal breaker?

What do you consider a deal breaker in a relationship? Do you have more than one? I'm just curious, because I see a lot of women put up with a lot of crap.

  • My real only deal breakers are hurting children, hitting me or doing drugs. Anything else it really depends on the circumstances.

  • I had a lot of deal breakers! Lol. I am married now. People told me many times that I was too picky. I figured I would rather be single then be with the wrong guy. Picky payed off and I have a wonderful husband!!

  • Oh you mean standards? Of course I have those. I wouldn't date a man who was, Jealous, Possessive, in jail, on drugs even marijuana, drank a lot (I am not just talking about a classic alcoholic, just too much) , smoked, or partied too much.

I also stay away from certain types of jobs. I would think twice before dating a policeman, for instance. Not out of fear for their job, but because they are so well protected by their own, if they are crooked. I am not saying I would reject them outright, but I would have to know them very well first. I also wouldn't date a body builder because sorry they look disgusting and I would fear steroid use.

  • Anonymous, I didn't even think of their jobs! I probably wouldn't date somebody I knew was in the military, and going to be deployed a lot. I couldn't handle the stress of that either.

  • I started out 3 yrs ago with deal breakers and the jerk has broken all of them I think! lol Now I just take one day at a time and see what's up. If he pisses me off too much we take breaks then I forget about whatever pissed me off and we go again. So no, I don't seem to have deal breakers anymore. The good news is that we don't live together. That helps a lot!
