How can I make a home-made welcome home banner?

I need some ideas on how to make a home made welcome home banner. Has anyone done this before and what ideas do you have for me? It needs to be pretty large, so I want to know what materials you used.

Thanks!

  • If you can't find a roll get regular blank colored paper and put one letter on each sheet of paper then attach them to a long strand of yarn. GL!

  • I just made one with my nephew for my mother. We just got a roll of paper. I rolled it out over the kitchen counter then wrote "Welcome Home" in block letters and let him color the letters and draw pictures all over it.

  • You can go to your local newspaper and buy and END ROLL....the end of the roll they use to print the paper on. They are cheap and a good size and you can make it as long as you want.
