can I use a heating pad on my stomach?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my stomach is cramping so much it's keeping me up. Would a heating pad hurt the baby? Maybe I can just turn it on low?

  • I wouldnt risk it... You are advised not to even take hot showers and avoid heat so a heating pad sounds like a bad idea. Heres a link to an article I found on it...

  • If your really cramping you may need to drink more water. That is what my doctor always told me and it always seemed to help.
