I wasn't able to breastfeed my first son because i didn't produce enough milk, i'm afraid i won't produce enough for this baby, i heard that dompridone works great but i've read it has not so good side effects. Has anyone used this or something alittle more natural that has worked for them?

  • I was on domperidone for #3. It helped immensely. I didn't notice any side effects I was too overjoyed being able to continue bf.

  • Talk to a lactation consultant before you have your next child! They will be overjoyed that you are being proactive about breastfeeding and want to help out as much as possible! They can sometimes be a little nuts but they usually know what they are talking about. I used fenugreek (a natural herb) to help promote lactation. It worked great!

  • First off why did you think you were not producing enough milk? Second talk with a good LC. Most women think or are told they are not producing enough and it simply isn't true. Give it 6-8 weeks this time and if baby isn't having the enough wet diapers then start looking at increasing supply.
