  • I didn't until about 2 but they all were sensitive to dairy, plus they didn't need that extra sugar

a 10.5month old shouldn't have a choice in the matter - or have all that sugar

  • I really hope you're joking. Why would you even start giving your baby chocolate milk? That's ridiculous

  • Technically, you shouldn't give milk until 1 year, let alone chocolate milk.

  • You are setting yourself up for trouble. If you give your child sweet drinks and junk food like chocolate then your child will never learn to drink white milk.
Why you even started chocolate milk is beyond me... it seems like a very poor choice for your child.
You child shouldn't be getting much milk yet anyway... we started a couple oz at a time at 11 months to get my son used to the flavor... so maybe that is what you are trying to do. I would give your son his usual drink... either breastmilk or formula mixed with a tiny bit of whole milk and then slowly work your way up until it's all whole milk by 12 months.

  • I wouldn't know. It never occurred to me to give a baby chocolate milk.

  • I didn't give my kids chocolate milk until they were like 5! You should set limits and definitely not give in to him on this - no chocolate for kids this young, and milk at this age is questionable.

  • Ya'll take questions to seriously. I dont give her whole milk everyday just 2oz maybe once a week. The same with choc milk she'll get that diluted with water maybe once a month not even that. Ya'll need to chill out. She still breastfeeds 6-7x a day.

  • I'm not gonna bash at all. But try this.............Dont give anything to drink to your child except milk. If he/she doesn't drink it, sooner or later they'll get thirsty. If you start giving in to things like this they will become a picky eater and they will soon learn they are boss.
