Do you ever take your kids' clothes to second-hand shops to sell?

We have a place here in MI called Once Upon a Child. Do you think their buying prices are fair? Would you take your stuff there?

  • Yes! Especially if you don't have any other children that could wear them. I have done it before with my oldest daughters clothing. There was just way to much to save but I did save the best things for my younger daughter

  • I have to Kid To Kid. But they gave me squat. Some of the things were never worn. I had 2 bin fulls of clothing. They were all name brands such as Ralph Laren, TCP,Gap, and alot of Macy's stuff. They gave me 450 that's it for both bins. Not per bin both. It made me mad and I will never do it again. I sell most of mine on Ebay and if I can't get rid of them that way I have a friend who owns a thrift store who will buy them and if she doesn't need them I give them away.

  • I have never heard of these places. I usually try to find a friend to give them to, or just drop off at the thrift store. But I would try to take my stuff there, unless they were giving out crap prices like Ibelongtojesus said.

  • Yeah I do because we spend a lot on clothes that are good quality so I feel like at least someone else gets good stuff. I just bought 2 pairs of True Religion jeans for my daughter yesterday on Craislist. I only buy new but I'm so close to San Fransisco that I get good deals.

  • I always take my used kids clothes to Children's Orchard. What they don't take I donate.
