Is it okay if I put freshly expressed milk in the freezer after it has been in the refrigerator for 24 hours?

  • I think so because fresh milk is supposed to be good in the fridge for up to 72 hours, so it seems like as long as you freeze it in that timeframe it would be ok.

  • yes, but dont re-freeze it once it's thawed for use (you'll lose nutrients)

  • Yes. It's better frozen fresh, but as long as it hasn't been in the fridge for too long it should be fine.

  • Yes...you can freeze it at up to 48 hrs in the fridge if you haven't used it...better fresh, but certainly fine.

  • you can keep pumped milk in the fridge for 8 days, freezr for 3 months and fresh room temp for 10 hours....www.lansinoh.com
