shoe sizes

My 17 month old wears a size 5. I want to get him a new pair of shoes, but the sizes i see online say size 5T, is this the same thing as a reg. size 5? This may sound like a dumb question, but i am confused here!

  • Yes it is the same...after it gets to a certain number it starts over again for kids so they are clarifying it is for toddlers!

  • No not really. I think it depends on the store. You may wanna check their shoe chart. I know Old Navy and Childrens Place shoes run different. My daughter wears a size 6 in shoes and she wears like a 7 or 8 in Old Navy because they are sized differently.

  • all shoes are sized differently, but in the basic concept a 5 is the same as a 5t
