  • Rahm Emmanuel's brother has built his business into one of the most powerful agencies for Hollywood clients by a very clever trick: Going ahead and doing something illegal, letting his victims sue him, and then using the usual array of delays to keep them busy while he merrily consolidates his client roster, his contacts with movie producers and other investors, and otherwise gains money and power through his (illegal and temporary) monopoly in Hollywood.

By the time the months and years of legal maneuvering have ended, he can pay the settlement or give back what he stole. But in the meantime, he will have amassed HUGE profits, investments and business contacts which his victims WOULD have had.

And his victims are 5 - 10 years behind in a very fast-paced business. So Mr. Emmanuel loses nothing.

This looks like EXACTLY the game plan the White House has in mind: "Unconstitutional? So what? So sue me!"

  • In theory each current administration is accountable to the administration that comes after it, and so they will not break the law.

Unfortunately in reality each subsequent administration is unlikely to pursue criminal charges.

  • Go ahead ANON, why don't you start with ACTUAL illegal actions or infractions, not just what Democratic Underground THINKS was illegal!
