what is head start?

someone said something about this and i have no clue what it is.

  • Head start is the grade right before prk. They learn all thier colors and numbers up too 100 and the play nap and make pictures for you they go from 8 to 3 just like a normal school does my lil girl just got out of head start she will be going to prk this year.

  • Head start IS preschool. There are income and age requirements. There are a certain percentage of higher income slots and 3 year old slots but the majority are lower income and 4. They also have a percentage of special needs kids, too. (special needs, income doesn't matter in some)

  • Who cares if "Head Start" is funded by our tax dollars? (rolling eyes) As long as a child is learning I'm more than happy to keep paying my taxes. Your tax dollars are also going towards public schools too... DUH!!!
