How can I get my babies sleeping schedule better?

My 7 month old for the past 2 or 3 months has been falling asleep around 9 or 10 o'clock and sleeping for 30 to 45 minutes and then waking back up. Then he will stay awake for another hour or two. It is like he was taking another nap. How can I fix this?

  • Make sure that you keep the lights dim starting about an hour before you want baby to go to sleep. If baby's in bright lights, his body thinks it's still daytime.
