Why are people so rude?

Why are people so concerned about the beliefs of others to the point of being mean, name calling and character assasination?

  • Because they're insecure with their own beliefs. When the end comes we will know who is right and who is wrong so why pick on each other. I figure that's the time we can look at someone and say "I told you so" LOL

  • because they get pissed when they can't "save" everyone with kind words. They need to accept that a change in beliefs is personal and not going to happen just because someone preaches at you.

  • because some people are too closed minded to consider anyone elses opinions. Thus they argue, rather than debate a topic.

  • Bloodbought, I have no idea what you are talking about? I am very firm in my beliefs and to my knowledge have never been rude to anyone. I did offer you a sincere prayer about your attitude toward gays and witches. Perhaps you misinterpreted that as rudeness. I assure you that the prayer was sincere and any perceived rudeness, was exactly that, perceived.
