  • my doctor says no juice just milk and some tap water (for the fluoride)

  • Our doctor told us we could give our daughter 4 ounches of diluted juice at her 9 month appointment, but we had to clean her mouth out with a warm washcloth after every serving.

Our WIC office tells us to not give it to them until 12 months and older, but we didn't listen. I listened to my daughter's doctor.

  • I started at 6 months when I introduced the sippy cup and only offered just in the sippy for a while.

  • I also started aroudn 6 months as a way to introduce the sippy cup. I only served juice or water in a sippy - never in a bottle because I wanted my kids to get used to drinking out of the sippy - the only thing they EVER got in a bottle was formula or breast milk
