quick to develop

I have a 2 1/2 month old little boy named Tyler. I have read that cutting teeth normally start between 4-7 months of age, I have noticed he is already cutting teeth, good control of his head and hands, can stand up with help and do it on his own for about 30 seconds before slowly being lowered, and making more sounds then the chart has said.
What's ironic is he was born with a large VSD which does not affect him what so ever. has any one seen anything like this?

  • No idea what "VSD" is, but the rest of the stuff sounds like my kids.

  • VSD is a heart defect, he was born with a large hole in the lower chambers of his heart. this causes his heart to work harder to get the blood threw the body. Doctors have said with a hole his size, he should be discolored, slow to develop, trouble eating, and some possible organ failure.

  • Then I'd say you have a little boy there who isn't going to let anything slow him down!! Tough little guy!

  • My daughter did all those things at 2 months... held head up less than a week old actually and staring standing right before 2 months (I didn't let her hold all her own weight until she was 4 months of course) except she didn't get teeth until 4 months, now she ahs 2 and she's 4 1/2 months old.

  • my daughter was like that she had all her teeth before she was 2 years. I had her drinking from a sippy at 4 months old.
