This video shows a great example of the reaction over "fishy misinformation" (aka people who are questioning health care reform) from those who don't want to take the time to explain things.

What do you think about this sort of reaction? Have you seen any other examples of this in your local area? Thanks!

  • Ha and they are calling the "MOB" crazy! If he didn't want any one to ask about health care reform he should have mad it very clear that only questions and concerns about the roads were on topic. Idiot.

  • Isn't it funny how they accuse us "regular" people of doing the things that they actually do... The lies they tell are mind boggling and for an elected representative to behave in that manner, to his constituents is totally unacceptable, I bet he will be reminded of that when it's time to vote again...

Thanks for posting this, thank goodness there are a few who are trying to tell the truth...

  • I saw this on 11 alive last night--I'm in metro ATL too. For anyone who doesn't watch the video all the way to the end, it's important to note that the rep says that the meeting is not an appropriate place to ask about the healthcare issue, and that concerned citizens should "call his office" and he'll be more than happy to meet with them to discuss their concerns...yeah right. The doctor who tried to ask the question and got ranted on at the meeting then points out that he has attempted to contact Scott several times and has received no response. Some of the reps from the Atlanta area are an embarrassment.

  • vicesix- Our home of record is the ATL but we are stationed in OH right now. We keep up with all the local goings ons there because we still have family there and plan to retire there. GPPF is a great resource for local level issues there- a friend of mine who works there posted this link on FB and that's how I found it. They are at: if you are interested
