Should i go in to L&D?

So I think my water is leaking but im not totally sure im wearing panty liners and i notice it was soaked so I changed my pad and about 5 mintutes went to check and it was damp so I put another one on and its barely anything on there could it of been my water? and also im not feeling any contractions so should i go to L&D? SO gets off work in a little bit so im just wondering!

  • When my water broke, it was different than like urine. Its a little thicker and has an odd smell. If you think your water broke, I would call your doctor and ask him what you do. I know when my water broke, they had to deliver in 24 hours because of an increase chance of infection.

  • ya call and ask what they want you to do they'll probably ask you to go in so they can check, but just b/c you aren't having contractions doesn't mean its not your water.

  • Call labor and delivery. They don't want u to come in really till u start having contractions, if u can walk and talk through ur contractions then don't come in when u can't then do, but I'd call l and d and ur doc.

    If there is a odor to ur water or its colored then go right away.
