Pacifiers...a gift from god...or something evil that no child should come in contact with. Why? Just for fun,NO RUDE COMMENT!

My answer: A gift from daughter loves her paccifier and I love it to. Especially when im trying to get something done and she just wont stop crying unless I pick her up,or give her her pacifier.

  • my mother thought they were great but when my father saw me give one to my son he freaked. . said he would be a thumb sucker when he got older. . my son did have one but he stopped by himself and it was wonderful when he wouldn't calm down. . .every one has their own opinion. if it helps ur child great. if not u can always try something else. a blanket helps my son calm down now.

  • YES!!!They were great, especially when my second daughter had colic and wouldn't stop crying even when I carried her or rocked her. It seemed to soothe her.

  • Gift from God!! and if you say they don't like it try another shape....each one of my kids required a certain nipple. none of them would take the NUK shaped pacifier it had to be a MAM pacifier!

  • Yes I think they are great. My hubby doesnt thou so with my 2nd he made sure she never got one. Man I wish she did- she is an awful sleeper but by the time I found it out it was too late and she hated the pacifier. When we have #3 I dont care what he says -he or she gets a pacifier from day 1 ROFL. Only time i dont think they should get one is when they are talking full sentences and and you have to ask them to remove the pacifier in order to understand them- but thats just me. Side nopte. saw a little boy in the store yesterday with one. Overheard his mom say they were shopping for his 6th bday next week. Too old???

  • Depends. They were the greatest thing with my daughter. She never let it go until I took it away. With my son it was the worst thing. If we tried to give him one to help him calm down it made him cry harder. He uses one now if he can find it to chew on. He is getting 2 teeth at the same time right now.
