Does anyone know about catabbie worms and trees?

I am about to move into a house that has a catabbie worm tree. I keep watching for worms but have seen none yet. Do they only come ever other year? Are the worms not on every tree? I have searched online for answers but really haven't found any yet. Catbbie worms are fishing worms, mainly used for cat fishing.

  • I have never heard of this! Are the worms a good thing? Are they really a worm, or a part of the tree? If I were you I would go to a local nursery where they sell plants and trees and ask there. They should know, especially if this tree is native to the area where you live.
