Would you ever buy a gift card for more than it's worth?

I'm watching these broads on ebay purchase a $500 gift card for $510. Why?? Why on Earth wouuld you spend more than it's worth? Don't beleive me check out item number 220463138021.

  • If I'm not wrong American Express charges an activation fee for their cards so it may still be a bargain.

  • i've seen that also, usually they go .50 or 1.00 over the amount, even on target and walmart cards. i don't get it.

  • sams club has them for cheaper than the amount on the gift card! only a few cents, but it's nice during xmas.

  • They are stupid and why the hell would you purchase a gift card from e-bay? I wouldn't even trust that the card is legit.

  • Maybe it's not really a Gift Card? You know..like drugs or something. I've seen ridiculous things like that on ebay before.
