  • omg, you need to buy some books about caring for infants and toddlers. start reading now, there are many things you NEED to know about babies, before you deliver.

  • It comes to you. You do the research as you go and you will receive more advice then you need. :)
If you ever have a question, ask all of us moms. (And don't worry if you don't agree, you can always ignore the advice if you want. )

  • Take parenting classes. You can look online for some. Your hospital that you are delivering at may have some to. A baby pretty much needs to be feed, loved and sleepand changed. Until they are older. you will get use to it. Or even ask family members to help you.

  • The more you read the better. You'll want to have some policies in mind, and the best way to decide what feels right to you would be to learn. Of course, never fear, women have been giving birth for many many many years without reading. But it is good to know about what to expect.

  • Years ago, they never had classes or books. It's trial and error, learn as you go, and see what works best for YOUR baby. The books and classes do help, but it honestly really doesn't take that long to get the hang of it. It's scary at first for anyone, even if they've always been around babies. It's way different with your own. You'll figure it out eventually and I'm sure you'll be a great mom :)

  • Trust yourself. The simple fact you are worried about it means you are on your way to being a great mom.
