How can you people deal with like 5 or 6 kids???!!!

I watch my sisters 2 + my 1 and I'm ready to go insane. I can not stand having that many babies around me at one time. (3 year old, my almost 1 yr old, 5 month old) If I had them 24/7...... I would lose my shit I couldn't do it. I think 2 kids will be my max. and atleast 2.5 years apart.

How do you do it?

  • Good question. I'm on TWO antidepressants and I only have one! I can't imagine another extremely active child like her, let alone two or three or even four more.

Oh god. My head is spinning just thinking about it.

  • Oh, and I take care of my 11 year old stepbrother sometimes. He's extremely clingy and wants to be near me and my daughter at all times. I nearly go INSANE when he comes over. But hey, my dad pays me, so it's not like I can say no...

  • I always wonder too... My daughter is such a busy child... she's always on the move, climbing, running, dancing, getting into things she's not allowed to do... Me and the hubby agreed already she has to be at least 4 or 5 before we even think about a second child!

  • I worked for a lady who had FOUR boys. I used to baby sit ALL of them along with another co-workers TWO children (one boy and one girl). I'm not sure of the ages, but I know the youngest was about 2 and the oldest was about 12. It really wasn't that bad since they were all older and could actually tell me what they wanted or needed. We played games and went outside, etc. It was so much fun, but I don't think I could have done dealt with it all if they were newborns/infants. It definitely would have been difficult.
PS. I want four children ... maybe! lol

  • Omilward one kid is cake compared to having 4! I have a 6 year old, two year old twins and a 15 month old. Three are special needs. I miss the days sometimes when I only had one. I love all my kids but they are a huge handful.

  • I knew a woman that has six kids. She expected the older kids to take care of the younger ones. I always felt sorry for the older girls.
